We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Working Maintenance Site Supervisor for our NHS healthcare site in Newton Abbot, Devon. This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for that next step or alternatively your previous site supervisory experience.

We are now seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor at Newton Abbot Community Hospital. The role is primarily in place to ensure that we deliver a quality maintenance service to our client and will be based on a single site. The hospital consists of 60 beds, a rehabilitation unit, a minor injury centre, a small maternity unit and a range of outpatient facilities.
The preferred candidate will have previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Operative, and may already have some site supervisory experience. Ideally your experience will have been gained supporting NHS clients; however, candidates with good commercial experience (e.g., hotels, schools, supermarkets) that can be translated to the NHS will also be considered. You will have technical knowledge of M&E building services maintenance and health and safety procedures in daily site operation. An electrical and/or mechanical qualification would be a distinct advantage.
