A global leader in agriculture and food processing seeks a Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled) at their Crisp Malt location in Portgordon, Scotland. This role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on equipment to ensure production targets are met, and compliance with electrical and mechanical regulations. Candidates should have a recognized apprenticeship in engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with computer-based maintenance systems. Work will be on-site with a commitment to health and safety standards.

We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled) at our Crisp Malt, Portgordon location.
Reporting to the Site Manager/Scotland Maintenance Supervisor, the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer carries out planned and reactive maintenance of all site and plant equipment to ensure the required levels of malt production are achieved, work to be in accordance with GMP, all trade related legislation and best practice.

Essential
Recognised Apprenticeship/Engineering with industrial electrical bias
C&G 2360 part 2 or BTEC, HNC, NVQ equivalent with industrial electrical bias.
Demonstratable problem solving abilities and Quality awareness
Confident in using computer-based maintenance systems and Microsoft.
Knowledge of Motors, Inverter Drives, Soft Start systems.
Demonstratable ability in Mechanical Testing, fault finding, installation & inspection.
Desirable
Experience working within Maltings with knowledge of DSEAR regulations
Material Handling Systems, Bucket Elevators, Belt Conveyors, Screws, Diverters etc.
Familiar with PLC systems
