Day Shift

Are you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for keeping machinery running at peak performance? We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client and help them drive excellence in precision engineering.

The Role
  • Performing reactive and planned maintenance on CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment
  • Proving mechanical repairs on shafts, gearboxes, chains and pumps
  • Diagnosing PLC faults and implementing effective solutions
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability
  • Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Holding an HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
