Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias (Multi-Skilled)

Salary: £43,050 + overtime (OTE significantly higher)

Shift Pattern: Double Days – 44 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking manufacturing business seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. This role would suit a Level 3 qualified, multi-skilled engineer with experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment, who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and performance.

The Role
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial plant, machinery and site facilities
  • Support preventative maintenance schedules to maximise uptime, performance and product quality
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults while supporting mechanical maintenance where required
  • Work safely and collaboratively with production and engineering teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and reliably
Shift Pattern – Double Days
  • Week 1 : Monday – Thursday 6 : 00am–4 : 30pm, Friday 6 : 00am–4 : 00pm
  • Week 2 : Monday – Thursday 12 : 00pm–10 : 00pm, Friday off

This is a 44-hour contract with regular overtime available, paid at time and a half or double time. Many engineers choose to work additional shifts, significantly increasing their annual earnings.
