Job description

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Shift: Monday to Friday - Mornings and Afternoons (2 week rotation)

Mornings: Monday to Thursday 6:15am to 3:00pm, Friday 6:15am to 2:45pm and Saturdays 6:00am-11:00am (Paid at x1.5) (Some flexibility around Saturdays for events, holidays, birthdays etc.)

Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 2:45pm-12:30am (Fridays for overtime if you wish)

Pay: up to £51,522 base. Overtime = earnings of £58k and upwards

Benefits: Annual pay reviews, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + the option to purchase 5 additional days subject to site availability. Pension 6% matched

Overview

Working on automated production line machinery we now require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the electrical maintenance team. The company offer a wealth of training for the willing candidate to help you develop your skills and benefit the maintenance team onsite.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
• PPM’s.

Ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems.
• Electrically qualified – must be able to present these at interview – minimum Level 3 or apprentice trained.
• Commutable from: Derby, Belper, Ashbourne, Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas.
