Job summary

A leading manufacturing business in Bolton is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased Contract Maintenance Engineer. You will be vital in addressing equipment breakdowns, executing preventative maintenance, and improving processes in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have completed an engineering apprenticeship and possess strong problem-solving skills. This role offers £40 per hour, with a 4 on 4 off (days/nights) shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience in Food/FMCG/Packaging sectors is a bonus.
• Electrical bias, but truly multi-skilled engineers welcome.
• Strong communicator and natural problem solver.

• Swift and efficient response to equipment breakdowns.
• Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve machine processing faults using documentation and historical data.
• Build strong working relationships with production teams.
• Support and train operators in basic maintenance tasks.
