Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to work a shift-based role with a major manufacturing company in the area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will join a stable team with low turnover and play a key role in the company's growth. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the factory operates efficiently and production levels are maintained.

Responsibilities
  1. Proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
  2. Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
  3. Working on electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
  4. Participating in engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
  5. Identifying and implementing process and machine output improvements
  6. Adhering to site health & safety rules and legislation
Requirements
  1. Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field
  2. Experience in a multi-skilled role covering mechanical and electrical engineering
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, preferably with manufacturing experience
