A leading recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a prominent company in the aerospace sector. The role involves conducting planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems in a heavy forge environment. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering and experience with fault finding and instrumentation. Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) have an exciting opportunity to join their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Electrician. The role is working Monday to Friday on a rotating 2‑shift pattern Monday to Friday - 6am-1.30pm and 12-7.30pm.
We manufacture high‑integrity, open‑die and closed‑die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier‑one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector. We are unique due to the combination of open and closed‑die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location.
