Overview

Position: Machinery Area Sales Manager
Location: Sleaford
Hours: 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Salary: £30k - £35k Plus Commission

Responsibilities
  • Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of new and used agricultural machinery, including associated equipment and implements, within a designated area. You will visit customers to maximise sales opportunities in a courteous and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in your sales area.
  • Demonstrate and promote machinery and associated equipment to potential customers.
  • Provide accurate product information and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate sales, and close deals effectively.
  • Achieve and exceed sales performance targets as set by the Branch & Sales Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Attend customer-focused events and exhibitions to promote products and services.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to sales activities, including CRM updates and reporting.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry and its equipment.
  • Proven experience in sales, service, or parts within the agricultural sector.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Target-driven with the ability to upsell and achieve sales targets.
  • Full UK driving licence.
