My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Machine Tool Service Engineer.

The Job:

• Part of the service team dealing with various clients, providing first class customer service
• Perform service and repairs on various Milling and Grinding machines.
• Replacement of gears and bearings
• Replacement of cutters and grinding spindles
• Involved in hydraulic and pneumatic installations.
• Promote the business spare parts and technical service department to existing and potential new clients.
• Only provide service and repair on the company machines designed and built by them, allowing an in-depth understanding of products and repair processes

About you:

• A positive 'can do' attitude with the ability to travel overseas when required.
• Experience of machine tool service, repair, and upgrades
• Ability to diagnose problems and deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Familiarity and knowledge of multi axis, metal cutting machinery.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Confidence of CNC controls and electrics would be an advantage.
