Overview

Join Our Team as a Machine Operator! Our client, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is urgently seeking Machine Operators to join their team in Eastfield.

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your keen eye for detail will help us maintain our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate and monitor machines.
  • Follow technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure every product meets our high standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient production flow and meet production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Strictly apply standardized processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Ensure the quality of operations by adhering to established standards.
  • Identify and communicate any risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
  • Report all incidents and near misses, applying the escalation process for any deviations in safety, quality, or performance.
  • Process orders accurately and promptly.
  • Develop knowledge of our products and systems.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently
  • A practical aptitude for science or engineering skills
