Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in the UK is seeking a Machine Operative to join their new Beetroot Production factory in Lichfield. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in food manufacturing and the ability to identify mechanical faults. This role offers a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, from 7 am to 7 pm, with a pay rate of £13.73 per hour.

Qualifications

Machine Operative - Food Manufacturing

We have an opportunity for Machine Operators to join us in our new Beetroot Production factory on our Retort Cookers at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

As a Machine Operative - Food Manufacturing, you will be a technical specialist on plant and process within the cooking process of the production stage, using retorts. In this ambient environment, you will set up and run machinery, plant and equipment ensuring all food safety and hygiene procedures are maintained. The successful Machine Operator will perform rudimental asset care and remedial work on equipment as well as to train operatives and ensure quality at all stages, whilst participating in systemic and process improvement within a CI framework.

Working hours : 4 days on, 4 days off. 7am to 7pm

Pay : £13.73 per hour
