Job description

Overview

Our client based in Twycross, urgently requires Experienced Machine Operatives. Possible permanent opportunity following a successful trial period. Must have some experience with Siemens CNC machines. Company manufactures overhead metallic cables for the transport industry, trailers, bale trailers, horse trailers. Work would involve both production bench welding 10-25mm steel plate, medium thickness tube and small to large fabrications in materials from 3mm to 25mm thick.

Responsibilities

• Production bench welding on 10-25mm steel plate, medium thickness tube, and fabrications in materials from 3mm to 25mm thick.
• Work with overhead metallic cables for the transport industry as part of fabrication and assembly.

Requirements

• Experience as an Experienced Machine Operative with some exposure to Siemens CNC machines.
• Demonstrated ability to perform production welding and fabrications within specified thickness ranges.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:30pm
• £13.00 – £15.00 per hour depending on previous experience
