Skilled 5T Machine Driver Coinford

Coinford are leaders in groundwork and concrete frame construction across major UK projects. We’re currently seeking an experienced 5T Machine Driver to join our team specialising in breaking out tarmac and delivering high‑quality excavation work.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a 5T excavator safely and efficiently at all times

Break out tarmac cleanly using the correct attachments

Excavate foundations, drainage and service trenches to line and level

Work safely with trench boxes, manhole boxes and lifting operations

Read drawings and levels supporting engineers and foremen

Complete daily checks and basic machine maintenance

Take pride in the machine keeping it clean, safe and well maintained

Work safely around live services and follow all dig‑permit procedures

What Were Looking For

Experienced 5T Machine Driver with strong groundworks background

CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS hologram) Excavator ticket

Lifting Ops preferred

GPS / machine control experience beneficial

Reliable safety-focused and able to work well within a team
