Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a cutting/machine shop.
  • Knowledge of operating CNC machines.

  • Ensure all scrap metal is cleared.

Job description

As a key member of our cutting shop team, you will play an essential role in our manufacturing process, ensuring components are cut with precision, efficiency, and quality. Your contribution will help keep production running smoothly and support our mission to deliver exceptional equipment to customers around the globe.

Responsibilities
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.Supervise the given machine during operation.
  • Load and unload various cuts of material to suit the job.Place all components on pallets and label accordingly.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of machines.Ensure all scrap metal is cleared and deposited in the skip area.
  • Carry out any relevant training required.Ensure compliance to all general site rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs.Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience using CNC machines or manual mill is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a cutting/machine shop.Knowledge of operating CNC machines.
  • Must have knowledge of various types of steel and density.Able to communicate problems - issues at all team members.
  • Ability to work on their own or as part of their teamAbility to adjust to change e.g. job machine - processAbility to fault find, trouble shoot, diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Comply with quality regulations and standards, attention to detail.Available to work flexible hours when required with notice.
