Responsibilities
- Report to the Lead Commissioning Manager; assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) commissioning activities across all projects.
- Oversee and manage specialist subcontractors involved.
- Provide regular progress reports and attend meetings.
- Manage customers in an accurate and professional manner.
- Review and modify commissioning-based policies and official statements.
- Attend on-site meetings and report when required.
- Monitor M&E installation activity.
- Liaise with 3rd party utility providers.
- Oversee and manage water treatment processes in accordance with project requirements.
- Effectively manage responsible teams whilst maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, management and customers.
Requirements
- Education: Industry recognised degree qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical installation/engineering.
- Skills and experience: 3 years of experience as a Commissioning Manager.
- Experience in the commissioning of Domestic and Commercial systems.
- Ability to understand system complexities to ensure the correct resources are put in place.
- Extensive project management experience.
- Able to manage progress against various deliverables.
- Results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving company objectives and meeting set deadlines.
- Performance and attitude in keeping with company policies and mission statements.
- UK car driving license required (international applicants will be supported with conversion).
- Desirable: SMSTS – Site Management Safety Training Scheme qualification.
- Applicants from outside the United Kingdom applying via the Skilled Worker visa route must also meet additional requirements, including evidence of English language proficiency, a Tuberculosis (TB) test for applicants from officially listed countries, and a clear immigration history.
