A warm, inclusive specialist setting in the Poole area is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor Assistant to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support students aged 2 to 19 within both primary and secondary environments.

This wonderful specialist provision supports pupils with a wide range of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Role

As a Lunchtime Supervisor Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring students have a safe, enjoyable and structured lunchtime experience.

  • Supervising students aged 2 to 19 during lunch and recreation times
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, communication and sensory needs
  • Encouraging positive interactions and emotional regulation
  • Ensuring safety, structure, and inclusion for all pupils
  • Working alongside other staff to maintain a calm, supportive environment

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children or young people with SEN
  • A patient, resilient and caring approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
