Job description

Morson is working with one of the UK's leading aerospace manufacturers who are looking for a Logistics Professional to join the team at the Bristol site.

Main Tasks
  • Follow standard work for materiel handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing).
  • Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules.
  • Use adequate equipment (forklift, tow train…) to move materials.
  • Record movement of material in the transactional record systems (e.g. receipt, booking…).
  • Make proposals to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure the safety procedures are followed by staff and drivers.
  • Process stock in line with site SLA's.
  • Support stores stock‑taking processes to ensure a robust count.
  • Unloading supplier deliveries using POV's.
  • Good knowledge of logistics SAP transactions and processes.
  • Moves/handles materials between production cells.
  • Generate travel and drawing packs.
  • Use material handling equipment for material movement.
  • Pick/kit materials for production and issue from SAP.
  • Receive, inspect and store inbound deliveries.
  • Pick, pack and ship product for onward delivery, internally and externally.
  • Delivery movements and collections between buildings and processes.
  • Print and prepare work to lists.
  • Provide material call‑off lists for stores.
  • Interface with site expeditors/planners to ensure Customer D1 is protected.
  • Raise quality notifications to record non‑conforming product issues.
  • Record supplier nonconformities within SAP and the appropriate registers.
  • Support quality investigations, either supplier triggered or internal manufacturing.
