A local authority in the South West is seeking a Locum Legal Assistant to provide legal support within the Social Care & Education teams. This full-time position is hybrid, spanning an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, managing case files, and filing documents efficiently. Candidates must have experience within a local authority and are expected to attend the office weekly or bi-weekly. The offered rate is £25-£30 per hour depending on experience.
Locum Legal Assistant (Education) – South West – Hybrid Working – 6 Months + - £25-£30 Umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist Legal team is recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join a reputable local authority in the South West on an interim basis, sitting within the busy Social Care & Education teams. This is a full time, hybrid working position for an initial term of 6 months, subject to potential extension thereafter. It will involve providing legal assistance to and supporting the Education Lawyers on a variety of matters. Experience gained within a local authority is required for this role.
Candidates will be expected to attend the office on a weekly or fortnightly basis. An hourly umbrella rate of £25-£30 depending on experience is offered for this position.
