Overview – Purpose of the Role
Support a venue within the Stadia subsector by business partnering with the General Manager and Heads of Department. The role involves all aspects of a partnering function, working collaboratively with the client and internally across finance, operations and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Business partnership with GM and HODs to support commercial and operational decision‑making, managing financial risks and opportunities.
- Deliver proactive financial analysis with summarised findings and recommendations to support decision‑making, using E15 Insights dashboards covering sales and costs.
- Take responsibility for the venue’s financial controls and processes: raising invoices, cash reporting, credit card reconciliation, PO log review, suspense account clear‑downs, match‑day ETA’s, monthly R&A process, weekly flash process, budget process.
- Provide analysis of key business reporting such as dashboards, month‑end reports, business reviews, client reports, budgets, flash forecasts and other ad‑hoc analysis for monthly/weekly reviews.
- Monitor initiative delivery plans, challenge operational teams and flag risks to the GM and FBP.
- Assist in training operational teams on business reporting and KPIs to improve their financial performance.
- Populate monthly balance sheet document for review, escalating key risks and opportunities to GM & FBP.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting process for the venue in partnership with the GM, ensuring a joined‑up signed‑off process with the operational team.
- Attend client finance meetings when required – presenting their client return and resolving any contractual issues.
- Participate in future planning and strategic decision‑making processes.
- Present on match days – evenings and weekends required throughout the season (May to September).
- Work effectively as part of a finance and operational team.
- Build relationships with key finance stakeholders.
- Support finance apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practice.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience in partnering operations.
- Experience of management accounting, including accounting adjustments and producing reports/analysis to support commercial decision‑making.
- Part‑qualified and working towards full qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).

- Experience with SAP, Sage and Quicksight as analysis and reporting tools.
