Job summary

A leading legal firm in the UK is seeking an OL / PL Paralegal to join its Portal Team. The successful candidate will manage a caseload, ensuring accurate record keeping and client communication. Candidates should hold an LLB Law degree and demonstrate strong customer care skills, with experience in telephone customer service preferred. Qualifications

  • LLB Law degree required.
  • Good customer care skills including empathy and the ability to obtain information.
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Administration or telephone-based customer service background is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Take initial instructions from client and complete FN009.
  • Ensure correct accident circumstances, injuries and potential losses are recorded on the file.
  • Obtain FOAs for medical records and request from medical agency.
  • Research to ensure the claim is submitted to the correct potential Defendant(s).
  • Chase Defendant and/or insurer for response.
  • Ensure client is kept updated throughout process.

Skills

Experience with the OL / PL portal
