A leading transportation manufacturer in Scarborough is seeking a Lineside Support Operative. The role involves ensuring all parts and materials are supplied to the production line efficiently while also maintaining stock control. Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a valid counterbalance forklift truck license, and strong organizational and communication skills. You’ll ensure all parts, components, and materials are received, acknowledged, and supplied to the production line in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. You’ll prioritize material supply, maintain stock control, update MRP systems, and support manufacturing and supply chain teams. This role also involves maintaining housekeeping standards and operating forklift trucks and material movement equipment safely.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment and a valid counterbalance forklift truck license. You’ll have strong organizational and communication skills, be computer literate with knowledge of MRP systems, and demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to internal and external customer requests.
