Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.

  • Follow all recipes and production specifications.
  • Knowledge and execution of menus.
  • Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations.
  • Participate as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates to ensure an efficiently run operation.
  • Know and follow all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino’s policy and procedures.
  • Execute and prioritize multiple orders with efficiency, quality and adherence to food safety practices.
  • Have knowledge and be able to execute in other outlets of Food and Beverage.
  • Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department.

What Qualifies You

  • Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience, with a minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience preferred.
  • Serv‑Safe Certification preferred.
  • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
  • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
  • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
