Qualifications

• Experience in a lifeguard or similar role is preferred.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
• Current NPLQ is desirable but not essential.

Job description

We are looking for a Lifeguard to join our team at Piran Meadows Resort in Newquay, Cornwall.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Leisure team to ensure the pool and leisure areas operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular checks of the pool, changing areas, and plant.
• Carry out pool water tests regularly.
• Be on the lookout for hazards or issues and ensure they are dealt with.
• Observe swimmers and spectators.
• Check and record all guest passes.
• Record any accidents and administer first aid as required.
• Advise guests on current activity programmes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• A current NPLQ desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage for travel to and from the resort.
• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Competitive salary / hourly rate of £12.21.
