Job summary

A leading environmental services provider in London is looking for an LGV Driver/Sweeper. You will be responsible for driving to collection locations, ensuring safe and efficient loading of waste, and completing vehicle checks. This role offers £15.37 per hour and various benefits, including annual leave and access to a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid 7.5t Driving Licence / Class C1 Licence.
  • Must have an up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to planned collection locations loading recycling and domestic waste.
  • Complete daily checks of the vehicle using onboard technology.
  • Comply with traffic laws ensuring a safe work environment.

LGV Driver/Sweeper

Salary: £15.37 per hour, plus Veolia Benefits

Hours: 39 hours per week - Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Location: Camden, NW5 3AP

What you'll be doing;

  • Driving to planned collection locations and loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle
  • Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes
  • Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times.

What we're looking for;

Essential:

  • 7.5t Driving Licence / Class C1 Licence.
  • An up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience in the waste industry
