Job Overview

LGV C1 (7.5t) Drivers required urgently for temporary ongoing roles at Millison Chase Limited’s depot. Working days with start times between 05:00 and 08:30. Pay is up‑to £15.13 per hour (including holiday pay) under PAYE only. Ongoing work available, some trunking routes, and temp‑to‑perm possibilities.

Job Description

This temporary ongoing role involves daily deliveries, hubs RDC or NDC, and collections from businesses using a curtain‑sided or solid‑sided truck. You will drive a rigid 7.5t lorry, delivering business to business on varied routes with 1‑20 drops, occasional trunks, and collections. Hand‑balling, load security strapping, use of a tale lift and pallet truck, and moving caged goods may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver various loads driving a rigid 7.5t lorry to hubs, RDC or NDC’s or collections from businesses. • Ensure safe transportation of goods and maintain accurate delivery records. • Work long shifts in keeping with in law and legislation. • Handle hand‑balling, load security strapping, use of a tale lift and pallet truck. • Move caged goods when required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK LGV C1 (7.5t) license
• Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods on 7.5t
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• UK CPC card
• UK digi Card
• No more than 6 penalty points and only SP codes allowed
• 1 year driving experience for insurance purposes

Pay & Hours

Mon to Fri £13.50 per hour. Up‑to £15.13 when factoring in holiday pay. Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle.
