Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. This position requires strong management and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. The Level 3 Practitioner will work closely with colleagues to create a nurturing environment that fosters early childhood education.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality childcare and early education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Supervise and support children's learning and development through engaging activities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication.
  • Assist in the management of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage children's growth in all areas of development.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, documenting findings accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
Experience
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is required.
  • DBS enrolment service is required to be undertaken by candidate.
  • Paediatric first aid certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in planning educational activities tailored to children's needs.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for potential transport duties related to outings or activities.
