A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant for a friendly Primary School in the Peterborough area. The role involves working with a motivated team to support children, particularly those with special educational needs. Candidates should have a Level 2/3 childcare qualification and a nurturing approach. Vision for Education are looking for a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a popular and friendly Primary School in the Peterborough area, working with a variety of year groups both generally and on a one-to-one basis.
You will be working with a motivated staff team where the children are at the heart of all they do. You will be working alongside excellent teaching practitioners, supporting students and assisting class teachers. This is a fulfilling and rewarding role where you can make a real difference to children's learning!
You will mostly be working with children with special educational needs, some of whom may have behavioural difficulties and so we need people with a nurturing and supportive approach. Experience of working within schools who use the trauma informed or therapeutic approach would be beneficial.
