Responsibilities
  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.

  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.

About the Employer

Choochoos Day Nursery Canterbury is located on the outskirts of the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury and is a purpose‑built nursery providing care for children aged 0‑5. Our ethos focuses on providing children with the freedom to explore and learn through play, whilst also engaging them in regular trips around the local area to visit places such as Canterbury Library, Westgate Gardens and the local park. Compensation and Working Hours

Pay: Up to £12.55 (based on experience). Working hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.
