Lettings Negotiator / Administrator - North Lancashire - up to £28k

This is a rare and great opportunity to join this leading independent multi‑branch Lettings and Estate Agency brand who have been established in the area for many years and have built up an impressive reputation. They pride themselves on their excellent customer service providing an in‑depth knowledge of legislation and a quality of service to each and every landlord and tenant. Due to ongoing growth in their Lettings Department they are looking for an experienced Lettings Negotiator / Administrator to be based in their North Lancashire office where you would be part of the team that lets and manages residential property across the Northwest region.

Main Duties for the Lettings Negotiator / Administrator Role
  • Handling property enquiries;
  • Organising and attending viewings and property inspection appointments;
  • Liaising with tenants and landlords to resolve property related issues;
  • Organising estimates repairs and maintenance;
  • Arranging gas and electrical safety checks with contractors;
  • Daily clients accounting tasks;
  • Maintaining accurate records;
  • Reviewing and processing application documents and
  • Preparing tenancy and handover documents for new tenancies.
Skills and Experience required
  • Dealing with Landlords and Tenants in a Lettings environment;
  • Relevant understanding of current legislation;
  • Ability to be in a client facing role with the confidence to attend appointments without supervision;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to cope in a busy environment;
  • Good organisation of yourself and the ability to meet deadlines and
  • Ability and aptitude to work towards property qualifications in due course.
