Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Covering London and Surrounding areas.

Salary: £25k – £38k + Benefits + Company Vehicle

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Legionella Risk Assessor to join an established Consultancy. Due to recent contract wins, our client is looking to expand their Southern Risk Assessing team. The successful candidate will be working on commercial and public sector contract across the South East / M25 region. Experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments is essential to the role with extra merit given to applications with experience undertaking legionella remedial works.

The successful candidate will be covering the M25 and surrounding counties. The client is open to locations across the South East such as; Luton, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Hertford, St Albans, Harlow, Enfield, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Slough, Basildon.

Essential Experience

• Industry recognised Legionella Risk Assessing qualification, e.g. WMSoc or City & Guilds.
• Knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Experience working within a Risk Assessing role.
• Good working knowledge of Hot and Cold Water Systems.
• Full Driving License.

Desired Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or Higher in Plumbing.
• Experience undertaking legionella remedial works.

The Role

• Duties will include;
• Conducting Legionella Risk Assessment on a range of sites from Education and Public Sector Sites through to larger Commercial sites.
• Producing handwritten reports for clients outlining RA findings, risk level and remedial actions.
• Writing and implementing management plans.
• Maintain excellent working knowledge of HSG 274 and working to guidelines.
• Producing schematic drawings.
• Were needed undertaking basic remedial and monitoring tasks.
• Arranging own schedule and dealing with own portfolio of clients and building strong working relationships.
