Overview

Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy based in the South West of England who are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard working Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. You will be carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold-water systems, ensuring that work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a growing company who can offer cross training into other environmental sectors. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider someone who has minimal experience carrying out legionella risk assessments and is looking to expand their knowledge and experience.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Will have experience carrying out risk assessments, working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella Management outlet.
• Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Able to communicate efficiently.
• Will prioritise work efficiently in line with company and client needs.

The Role

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold-water systems.
• Producing and working from site specific schematic drawings.
• Ensuring to provide clients with detailed legionella reports upon completion of risk assessments.
• Using findings from risk assessments to produce detailed legionella management plans to prevent the risk of legionnaires disease, ensuring to discuss them with clients and making sure they implement measures.
• Working in line with HGS 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Liaising with clients and providing excellent technical support and advice when required.
