Legal Technology Business Analyst – Drive Innovation Across a Global Law Firm

Are you a legal tech specialist who thrives on improving how lawyers work, enhancing core applications, and shaping smarter workflows? This London-based role offers the chance to own and evolve the firm’s legal technology landscape -partnering closely with lawyers, PAs, Finance and IT to deliver meaningful change across practice areas.

What you’ll be doing
  • Engaging directly with lawyers, PAs and business teams to understand their processes and challenges
  • Analysing and redesigning workflows to improve efficiency across legal practice areas
  • Leading enhancements, upgrades, integrations and configuration changes across core legal applications
  • Designing and delivering automation opportunities (document, workflow, data flow)
  • Shaping functional requirements, user stories and future‑state processes
  • Driving adoption of AI and new technology across the business
  • Producing documentation, user guides and change support materials
  • Evaluating new legal tech solutions and contributing to the firm’s technology roadmap
  • Supporting finance systems (Aderant, BillBlast, iTimeKeep) from a process and enhancement perspective
What you’ll bring

Experience within a law firm or legal technology environment is essential.

You’ll also have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in legal applications, legal technology, or legal business analysis
  • Strong understanding of legal workflows—matter lifecycle, DMS use, conflicts, time capture, billing, or related processes
  • Hands‑on experience with one or more core platforms: iManage, Intapp, Aderant, SharePoint, or similar
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working directly with lawyers
  • The ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions
  • Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, automation or low‑code platforms is advantageous
