Legal Secretary (Temp – Ongoing) London | Up to £55,000 | 4 days office-based

An opportunity has arisen within a highly regarded international law firm for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their London secretarial services function on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a varied, fast-paced role supporting senior Business Support professionals and working closely with the wider London secretarial team.

The firm is known for its collaborative culture, high standards of client service and professional yet personable working environment. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values reliability, initiative and strong communication.

The role
  • Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to senior Business Support members
  • Working collaboratively with the London secretarial team to ensure seamless support across the office
  • Producing, amending and formatting legal documentation to a high standard
  • Coordinating meetings, travel arrangements and diaries
  • Supporting business development and client administration processes
  • Managing filing, expenses, time recording and general administrative tasks
  • Acting as a proactive and dependable team player, particularly during busy periods
The ideal candidate
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm, professional and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Confident communicator with a positive, team-oriented approach

Hours: 09:00–17:00, with flexibility required during peak periods

Working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

Contract: Temporary, ongoing

The firm is keen to move quickly and is aiming to have interviews scheduled by 5th January, where possible.
