- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including aircraft maintenance agreements, vendor/supplier contracts, licensing, and joint venture agreements.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to management and business units on operational, commercial, and corporate matters.
- Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and aviation industry standards.
- Manage legal risks and advise on dispute resolution, claims handling, and the engagement of external counsel when necessary.
- Assist in corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, corporate secretarial requirements, and group policies.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, internal legal processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct training sessions and raise awareness among internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues relevant to the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and admission to practice law in Singapore or a common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a leading law firm or as in-house counsel in a multinational corporation.
- Strong background in commercial/contract law; experience in aviation, engineering, or technology sectors is an advantage.
- Proven ability to balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across different levels and functions.
