About the Role

As Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Legal and providing expert legal advice across the business. Your focus will include commercial contracts (such as PPAs and optimisation agreements), corporate matters, M&A, and funding projects. You will also assist with compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the legal delivery of commercial projects, including M&A, sales, and funding.
• Manage legal and contractual due diligence processes.
• Draft, negotiate, and review PPAs (including cPPAs and RtMPPAs) and optimisation agreements.
• Provide corporate support, including drafting board notes and minutes.
• Advise on CfDs, capacity market issues, and other ad hoc agreements.
• Liaise with external legal providers and internal teams.
