A Central London legal firm is seeking a full-time legal cashier to join their team. The role involves monitoring client accounts, processing various transactions, and conducting daily bank reconciliations. The firm offers a hybrid working model and an attractive salary package. Responsibilities

  • Monitor client accounts, check receipts, and notify fee earners.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations for client and office accounts.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with firm policies and SARs.
  • Process BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, and international transfers.
  • Post transactions to the case management system.
  • Manage office receipts and payments, client-to-office transfers.
  • Assist with aged debt management.
  • Process bills and upload disbursement records.
  • Support projects such as inactive matters, residual balances, and file storage.
  • Maintain an organised electronic filing system.
  • Resolve account queries and liaise with fee earners on ledger balances.
