Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in the UK seeks an Associate Structural Engineer to lead design projects and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering structural engineering projects.
  • Experience supporting business development is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee structural engineering design across a range of building types and materials.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers.
  • Act as a client-facing lead engineer.
  • Contribute to bids, proposals and wider business growth initiatives.

Skills

Strong technical understanding across concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures
Confident communicator
Experience leading project teams
Familiarity with modern design tools and structural analysis software
Ability to inspire a team

Education

Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng)
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status via ICE or IStructE
