Installation Engineer –Represented by IN2-AV Recruitment
IN2-AV Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing digital experience specialist that delivers cutting‑edge technology installations for major brands across retail, attractions and corporate environments. Their work spans large-format LED, LCD and audio systems, all powered by an in-house technology platform that helps customers create memorable, high-impact spaces.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join their field team and support the delivery of high-quality AV installations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and commission LED, LCD and audio equipment.
- Carry out site surveys, capturing accurate technical information for project teams.
- Provide on‑site technical solutions and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Complete installation reports and sign‑off documentation to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent presentation on‑site, ensuring tidy cabling and polished final finishes.
- Support or lead small installation teams when required, reporting progress back to project management.
About You
- Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.
- Experience conducting site surveys and advising on installation solutions.
- Confident communicator with good client‑facing skills.
- Solid time management and organisation, delivering projects within scope and timescales.
- Experience with LED installation and commissioning is essential; audio installation experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of materials and fixings for installing hardware safely and securely.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in AV, digital technology or retail technology environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a bonus.
