We're one of the UK's top-performing colleges and proud to be the National Apprenticeship Provider of the Year 2025. Our Occupational team delivers high-quality courses and apprenticeships across multiple trades, and we're now looking for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join us.

Responsibilities
  • Teach level 1 and level 2 full‑time students studying the IMI Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Teach light‑vehicle apprentices up to level 3 and support industry training such as MOT Tester and Electric Vehicle (Level 3/4).
  • Provide high‑quality teaching and maintain excellent working relationships within the automotive team.
  • Manage a tutor group (responsibilities and support).
Qualifications
  • Recognised trade qualifications in motor vehicle.
  • High standards of teaching; ideally hold a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding learning experience and flexible across courses.
  • Willingness to complete initial teacher training if no prior teaching experience.

  • Salary as advertised on the qualified lecturer scale; non‑qualified applicants considered on the non‑qualified lecturer scale.
