We have an excellent reputation for providing quality education in Construction and the Built Environment and due to growth we are currently looking for full‑time or part‑time lecturers in Construction Management to join our team of construction specialists.
If you have industry experience in the construction industry and are interested in a teaching career, we would like to hear from you. Potential subjects include Principles of Electrical Design and Installation, Science Principles for BSE and Sustainable Construction.
The ability to communicate effectively with adults and young people is essential. Experience of teaching at National and Higher National level is desirable. Possession of (or willingness to achieve) a Certificate in Education will be essential. (Teacher training will be provided if necessary)

This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, of up to £6,000 for FE teachers, for those meeting the criteria. This involves the government paying successful candidates from an industry background to get into teaching. Leeds College of Building will fund successful candidates to become a qualified FE teacher.

Candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
