The Digital Education Service (DES) at the University of Leeds is at the forefront of transforming teaching and learning through innovative digital solutions. Our pioneering service is committed to enhancing the educational experience for students and faculty alike by integrating cutting-edge technologies and pedagogical strategies. With a strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity, DES develops and delivers a wide range of online courses and digital resources that extend learning opportunities beyond traditional classroom boundaries. The Digital Education Enhancement (DEE) team in DES is the cornerstone of our mission to revolutionise the student learning experience through innovative technology. Comprised of expert Learning Technologists stationed across various faculties, the DEE team acts as both practitioners and advisors, pioneering the integration of cutting-edge technology with modern educational practices. Our approach is deeply rooted in robust learning theories, supported by a wealth of empirical evidence that guides the effective use of learning technologies. We strive to harmonise the latest in technology with evolving learning theories and the practical aspects of educational practice, fostering a collaborative environment with academic staff. This partnership aims to create a seamless, engaging, and enriching learning journey for students, making education more interactive, accessible, and impactful. As we navigate the future of digital education, our team is dedicated to implementing digital solutions that not only meet current educational demands but also anticipate and shape the evolving landscape of learning.

In the role of Learning Technologist, you will be at the forefront of implementing digital education strategies within our Faculty-based teams. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative solutions for active learning, providing expert advice on the application of learning technologies, developing academic staff digital capability, and designing engaging learning experiences. You\'ll manage projects aligned with the Faculty\'s strategic goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful digital learning experiences. This position offers the chance to deliver strategic priorities for digital education, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to the University\'s reputation for excellence in teaching and learning.
