An educational institution is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to assist learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Salary: £23,684.44 FTE / CC23 / £12.31 per hour (actual pro‑ra salary £16,396.92 plus holiday pay £2,396.47, total pro‑ra salary £18,793.39, £14.11 per hour)
Terms & Conditions: Term‑time only, 37 hours over 36 weeks.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner to contribute to the delivery of our Additional Learning Support (ALS) provision for learners who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The purpose of the role is to support individual or small groups of learners in the achievement of their learning goals and the development of independent life and employability skills. A Learning Support Practitioner may also support learners with communication, behavioural & emotion difficulties and social anxiety, aiming to develop independent study skills and strategies.
The purpose of our provision is to develop independent, confident and resilient learners who are well‑prepared to engage with the wider community. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold our College Values:

37 hours over 36 weeks, Term time Monday to Friday.
