If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Teaching Assistant at our SEN school.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
· Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both in the classroom and during specialized sessions.
· Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere, encouraging students to build their confidence and self-esteem.
· Collaborate with the SEN team and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) for specific students.
· Help manage behaviour and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
· Support students in their personal care and mobility requirements, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
· Assist with the integration of students with SEN into mainstream classes, promoting their participation and social interactions.
· Monitor and track student progress, keeping accurate records to inform future planning and reporting to parents and caregivers.
· Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills in SEN education.
Requirements:
· Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Special Educational Needs setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
· A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
· Compassion, patience, and the ability to empathize with students, understanding their unique challenges and strengths.
· Excellent communication skills, both with students and colleagues, to foster positive relationships and teamwork.
· The willingness to learn and implement various strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
· An understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
