Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them thrive in a mainstream school environment? Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual who understands the importance of tailored academic and emotional support for pupils with additional needs?

If so, this Learning Support Assistant role could be a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children who require extra support to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Yate. This role has a strong SEN focus and involves providing 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, autism, speech and language needs, and social or emotional challenges.

  • Primary Mainstream School
  • Yate
  • £80-95 per day
  • Full-time (8:30am-3:30pm)
Ideal Candidate:
  • Empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • Confident adapting strategies to suit diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience supporting SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • A proactive and nurturing approach to learning support
