What skills and experience we're looking for

Cape Cornwall School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their Learning Support Team. The post will involve working closely with students who have a range of barriers that mean they require support that is in addition to/different from the mainstream offer.

The successful applicant will have a patient and caring nature, as well as an inherent desire to help students with additional needs thrive academically and socially. A full induction programme and training in a range of SEN needs and proven strategies will be given to support the successful candidate as they take up the role.

We are looking to employ someone for 3 days a week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am – 3.00pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break. 18 hours per week (excluding 30‑minute unpaid lunch breaks), 39 weeks per year (term time) plus Inset Days.
