Breakfast and After School Club Assistant Arnold

Part-Time

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming and well‑established primary school in Nottingham, supporting them in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast and After School Club Assistant to join their team.

This is a part‑time position, perfect for someone with a genuine passion for working with children aged 4-11 and creating a safe, engaging and fun environment before and after the school day.

We are welcoming applications from practitioners with experience in childcare, education or playwork, ideally holding a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or a related field. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and committed to providing high‑quality care.

Working hours
  • Breakfast Club: 7:30am – 9:00am
  • After School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to the location, though not essential.

Key qualifications and responsibilities
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or similar (desirable)
  • A caring, patient and approachable nature
  • Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to child welfare
  • A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
