A primary school in Rochdale seeks a Permanent Learning Mentor to support children's attainment and progress. The ideal candidate will work with children to develop listening skills, self-regulation, and provide emotional support. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and a commitment to 'Success for All' in a friendly environment.
Grade: Grade 6 (SCP 19-24)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week (8.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday)
Working Pattern: Term Time Only
Actual Salary: £25,970 - £28,684

The Governing Body of Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint a Permanent Learning Mentor (Achievement).
Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is a large, multi-cultural primary school situated in Rochdale. The school currently has 669 children from 2 to 11 years of age. Our school motto is ‘Be happy, be healthy, be successful and learn together’ and as a school community, we are committed to ensuring that we achieve this for each and every one of our children.
We are looking for a Learning Mentor to support children with their attainment and progress. You will be focusing on supporting children to reach their full potential in school. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making sure each and every one of our children is the best they can be.
You will be working with a large staff with a large inclusion team. Any training needed will be provided but experience working with children across the age range is essential.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
