Learning Coach – SIA

At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and expanding training provider for a committed Learning Coach and SIA Trainer to support adult learners across Manchester. This is a full-time permanent role delivering high quality SIA and vocational training, designed to prepare learners for employment and progression within the security industry.

You will work across various Manchester sites delivering engaging, compliant and industry aligned SIA programmes, ensuring learners develop the knowledge, behaviours, and confidence to move into sustainable roles. This is a hand on, fast paced delivery role ideally suited to someone passionate about both security and education.

What you will be doing:
  • Deliver high quality SIA training and wider vocational programmes across multiple sites in Manchester
  • Deliver sessions in areas including Conflict Management, Physical Intervention, Emergency First Aid and Security principles
  • Manage a caseload of adult learners, completing regular reviews, progress checks, and coaching interventions
  • Deliver Maths, English, and Digital Skills where required to support learner achievement
  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning and assessment activities in line with SIA requirements and awarding body standards
  • Provide clear, accurate and timely feedback on learner work and assessments
  • Inspire and motivate learners, identify barriers, and adapt delivery to meet individual needs
  • Ensure all evidence for learning, achievement and Ofsted compliance is recorded accurately and on time
  • Work closely with internal quality teams to ensure best practice, consistency, and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support learner destinations into employment
  • Produce reports and maintain documentation in line with KPIs and curriculum expectations
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning resources and materials
  • Model professional conduct, safety, and high standards always
What we are looking for:
  • At least 2 years of front-line security experience within the last 5 years in the UK
  • Relevant sector qualifications at Level 3 or above
  • Experience of supporting or coaching learners
  • Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple delivery sites
Desirable:
  • Coaching qualification
  • PGCE or similar teaching qualification
  • TAQA, AVA, A1 or D32/33 Assessor Qualification
