A well-respected further education institution in Northgate is seeking a Learning Assistant to support students with learning difficulties in various subjects. You will help create a positive learning environment and assist students in classrooms and workshops. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and effective organisational skills, and a GCSE in English is essential. This position offers a rewarding experience within a vibrant and inclusive community.
As a Learning Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College, creating positive relationships with them and assisting them in a classroom or workshop setting. This will include students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs. The work you do as a Learning Assistant will ensure our students' have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. A GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above is also essential.
